The last 5 years has seen tremendous change in the high stakes assessment landscape. Since March 2020, organizations involved in assessments have been forced to adapt to this landscape and adopt new strategies and expedite change initiatives to meet the needs of both the Regulators and the candidates. Most recently AI has begun to permeate the assessment landscape, with far-reaching applications as the next significant industry disruptor. Gaining a deeper understanding and learning from the experience of other assessment organizations could prove to be extremely beneficial.

Existing networks, have mandates to support knowledge transfer and cross pollination between organizations but have a scope which focuses primarily on the American landscape with heavy involvement of vendors that support test development and delivery. This leaves a gap for Canadian assessment organizations that desire to fully experience of the benefits knowledge transfer between organizations.

It is with these sets of drivers in mind that The Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) is proposing the establishment of a Canadian network for assessment professionals.

Network Activity:
